Week of Feb. 13 - Feb. 17
Reading - Skill-Characters - We are reading Goldilocks and the Three Bears and dicussing the characters in the story
Phonics - The letter "Gg"
Math - Measurement and Data - Weight (comparing heavier and lighter objects)
Spelling - The "en" family - pen, hen, Ben, men, ten (Test on Friday!!!)
New Sight Words - one, two, three, four, five
Homework - Monday and Tuesday - consonant blends
Wednesday and Thursday - ordinal numbers

Monday - Classroom picture - If you did not turn in the order envelope and $12.00 by the day of the picture, you have until Friday to do so.
Tuesday - Valentine's Party at 1:00pm. Students may bring valentines for their classmates. A previous note was sent home with a list of all student's names.
*This week students will bring home a permission slip to sell candy bars to raise money for the school. Students can earn prizes and even money depending on how many boxes of candy bars are sold. If your child has permission to sell candy bars, return the permission slip and the first box will be sent home to sell. After a box is sold, another box will be sent home, if desired, and so on.
